Introduction
God did not create you for mediocrity but for distinction. Being “above” is not about crushing others; it is about showing wisdom, skill, and grace in everything you do. The excellent spirit that rested on Daniel can rest on you as well. It equips you to rise above competition, overcome obstacles, and carry God’s glory where others have given up. This promise walks hand in hand with obedience: the one who listens to God is lifted by God.

The heart of the prayer
Prayer
Lord, You promised to make me the head and not the tail. I receive this word with gratitude and with a heart that wants to obey You. Put on me the excellent spirit You placed in Daniel: wisdom, integrity, and a love for work well done. Keep me from pride when You lift me up, and from fear when I am opposed. Open the roads that are closed, place me in the right place at the right time, and let my success bring You glory before everyone around me. In Jesus’ name, amen.
