What data, and why

When you fill in a form for emails (weekly prayer, free journal, app waitlist): your first name (optional), your email address, the site language, and, if you tick it, the fact that you already have the book. They are used only to send you the emails you asked for. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time through the unsubscribe link in every email.

Prayer requests

When you share a prayer request (page Pray now), we receive your first name (optional), your email address, your request (600 characters at most), and the site language. Purpose: only so that Martial Kpochan can read your request and pray for it, and confirm that it was received. Legal basis: your explicit consent (the box you tick), since a prayer request may reveal your beliefs or your health. Your request is never published, never shared, and never used for newsletters or advertising. It is kept for a limited time, three months at most, then deleted; you can ask for it to be deleted at any time by writing to contact@revealedprayers.com.

Email service provider

Emails are sent through Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, 106 boulevard Haussmann, 75008 Paris, France), acting as a processor. Data is stored in the European Union. It is never sold or shared for advertising.

How long

Prayer requests: three months at most (see above). Email subscriptions: until you unsubscribe, or three years after your last interaction with our emails.

Cookies and tracking

This site uses no analytics, advertising, or social media cookies, and loads no external resources: fonts are hosted on the site itself. Only one preference may be kept in your browser (masculine or feminine declarations on the French pages); it never leaves your device.

Listening and videos

The “Listen” button uses the speech synthesis built into your browser or device. Depending on the voice your device offers, the text of the prayer (never any personal data) may be processed by the voice provider (Microsoft, Google, or Apple). If a prayer has a YouTube video, nothing is loaded from YouTube until you click “Play the video”; the video is then shown through youtube-nocookie.com, under Google’s privacy policy.

Hosting

The site is hosted by 1&1 IONOS SE (Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany), which keeps technical connection logs for security purposes.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete, and port your data, and to object to its use. Write to contact@revealedprayers.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority (CNIL, cnil.fr) or the authority in your country.
