Prayer no. 28 · Theme D

Deuteronomy 32:13 (KJV)

Introduction

In the middle of the wilderness, God brought His people up to the heights and fed them in an unexpected way: honey drawn from the rock, oil pressed from the hardest stone. What looked barren became a spring. The same is true for you: where everything seems shut, His grace opens springs you never suspected. The rock of your trial can become the very place where God satisfies you with His sweetness and anoints you for the road ahead.

The heart of the prayer

Prayer

Father, I praise You, for You fed Your people in the wilderness with honey from the rock, and You care for me in the same way. Thank You for making springs burst forth where I saw only stone. Fill me with Your sweetness and Your peace. Bring me up to the heights of faith and teach me to recognize Your provision, even when it is quiet. Today I receive Your goodness in every area of my life, and I thank You in advance for the doors You are opening. May my life tell the story of Your faithfulness. In Jesus’ name, amen.
