Prayer no. 19 · Theme C

I Am the Living Testimony of Divine Promotion

A prayer for promotion and recognition

Thou shalt increase my greatness, and comfort me on every side.

Psalms 71:21 (KJV)

Introduction

Many promotions begin in a furnace. Like Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, you may discover that the trial has not come to snuff you out, but to reveal the One who walks with you in the fire. What looked like a fall often becomes the platform for your testimony. God increases your greatness and comforts you on every side; He moves you from glory to glory. Speak these words as someone God is lifting up.

The heart of the prayer

Prayer

Lord, I praise You, for You are faithful in every season and Your presence goes with me always. In the fire You are with me, and You turn every trial into a step toward the promotion You have prepared. Increase my greatness and comfort me on every side. Purify, refine, and make shine all that You have placed in me. I choose faith, joy, and gratitude. Make my life a living testimony of Your faithfulness and Your promotion, so that others take heart when they see me. I thank You in advance for what You are accomplishing. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Key Line

The fire does not consume me, it consecrates me: I am the living testimony of divine promotion.
