Prayer no. 10 · Theme B

I Am Clothed with Divine Power

A prayer for victory in spiritual battle

Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Luke 10:19 (KJV)

Introduction

The Lord has not left you defenseless: He has clothed you with His authority. Nothing can harm you, for the strength of God is at work in you. This power is not made of violence or noise, but of peace, faith, and spiritual dominion. The world may surround you with opposition, yet you have nothing to fear: your life rests in the hand of the Most High, and the light that lives in you is stronger than any darkness around you.

The heart of the prayer

Prayer

Father, thank You for clothing me with Your authority in Jesus Christ. I no longer want to walk in fear, but in the awareness of Your presence. Through the blood of Jesus, I stand sheltered from all the power of the enemy: let nothing harm me, not in my body, not in my mind, not in my home. Keep me from pride, and let this power serve peace, justice, and love. Fill me with Your Spirit and make me a light that calms and sets free. In Jesus’ name, amen.
