Introduction
Excellence is not a human privilege; it is a divine anointing. It rests on those who walk in the wisdom and light of God and who work heartily, as unto the Lord. Like Joseph, Daniel, or Solomon, you can stand out in your generation, not out of pride, but so that God is glorified through your work. Daniel stood out because an excellent spirit was in him: excellence begins with faithfulness.

The heart of the prayer
Prayer
Father, thank You for placing a spirit of excellence in me. Like Joseph, Daniel, and Solomon, I want to shine in my generation, not for my glory, but for Yours. Give me wisdom in my decisions, diligence in my work, and humility in success. Open before me the doors You have prepared, and keep me from pride as well as from the fear of failure. Let everything I undertake bear the mark of Your grace. In Jesus’ name, amen.
