A prayer to rekindle my spiritual fire · to start the day well
The Lord God hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary: he wakeneth morning by morning, he wakeneth mine ear to hear as the learned.
Isaiah 50:4 (KJV)
A calm full-screen view: the verse, then each declaration one at a time, the prayer, and Amen.
Introduction
Every morning is a door. Whoever prays before sunrise does not let the day decide for them. Before the news, the worries, and the urgent demands, give God your first words: they set the tone for everything else. You do not govern the morning by your own strength: it is the Lord who wakens your ear morning by morning and puts in your mouth a word that lifts others up. Today, let your words bless your day, let your faith shape the way you see, and let your spirit stand in the authority God has given you.

The heart of the prayer
Prayer
Lord, this morning I give You my first words. Before the noise of the world, before the worries and the urgent demands, I acknowledge that You reign over this day. I can do all things through You who strengthen me. Bless my thoughts, my words, and my actions; guide my steps toward the right encounters; keep me from traps and from discouragement. Let my mouth speak only life and blessing, and let Your light go ahead of every hour of my day. In Jesus’ name, amen.
