Prayer no. 55 · Theme I

I Am the One Who Crosses the Threshold of Miracles

A prayer for a door to open · to await a miracle in faith

Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.

Psalms 24:9 (KJV)

Introduction

Sometimes success seems so close you could almost touch it, and yet everything collapses at the last minute. Resistance rises at the threshold of God’s promises to delay the entrance of His glory. But the psalmist repeats his call, as if to insist: the gates must be lifted up. Today the King of glory is advancing before you. What God has begun in your life, He will bring to completion, and you will cross the threshold.

The heart of the prayer

Prayer

Father, I praise You, for You always finish what You begin. I entrust to You my projects, my promises, and my efforts: in Your hands, they reach their full accomplishment. Lift up the gates before me and bring Your glory into every area of my life. Strengthen my hands, renew my zeal, and lead me past the threshold into the fullness of Your will. Thank You, for Your faithfulness never stops halfway. Let my life proclaim that You go all the way. In Jesus’ name, amen.
