Introduction
Defeat is not an ending; it is a passage. At the cross, Jesus already conquered the powers that still pretend to rule over you; He disarmed them and put them on public display. So you do not fight to win victory, you fight from victory. Your falls do not have the last word. Your peace comes from the One who triumphed once and for all, and His victory becomes yours.

The heart of the prayer
Prayer
Lord, thank You that at the cross You stripped the powers of their weapons and triumphed over them openly. Your victory is my victory. Yesterday is covered by Your grace, and today Your strength clothes me. Teach me to fight from Your victory, in peace and confidence. Let every trial I have come through become a testimony that encourages others. I receive Your peace in the heart of every battle, and I praise You, for in You I am more than a conqueror. In Jesus’ name, amen.
