Introduction
Fear has no power over a heart where God lives. It feeds on doubt, but it dies out in the light of faith. God did not give you a spirit of fear, but of power, of love, and of a sound mind. Whoever walks with Christ no longer lives at the mercy of the shadows: they become light, stability, and peace. True courage is not loud; it is a quiet strength that stands firm because it knows whom it has believed.

The heart of the prayer
Prayer
Father, thank You that You have not given me a spirit of fear, but of power, of love, and of a sound mind. I gratefully receive Your peace that passes all understanding. My tomorrow is in Your hands, my plans are under Your grace, and You supply all my needs. Steady my steps, guard my thoughts, and make me a peaceful witness of Your courage, even in the heart of the storm. My trust in You is stronger than all the noise of the world. In Jesus’ name, amen.
