Prayer no. 40 · Theme F

I Am the Living Will of God in Action

A prayer to make the right decision

For whosoever shall do the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister, and mother.

Mark 3:35 (KJV)

Introduction

Doing the will of God means stepping into the perfect symphony of His wisdom. It is not a constraint but a covenant between your heart and His light. Jesus calls those who do the Father’s will His own family: what an honor! When you align yourself with that will, your whole being becomes an instrument of harmony, and your everyday life, at work and at home, becomes a living prayer.

The heart of the prayer

Prayer

Father, let Your will be done in my life as it is in heaven. I do not want only to call You Lord; I want to do what You say. Work in me both to will and to do of Your good pleasure. Free me from the need to please people and from every ambition that does not come from You. Give me joy in obeying, patience to wait for Your time, and boldness to act when You speak. May my whole life be Your will in action. In Jesus’ name, amen.
