If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?
Psalms 11:3 (KJV)
A calm full-screen view: the verse, then each declaration one at a time, the prayer, and Amen.
Introduction
The foundations of your life are your values, your story, your roots, and everything you have been through. When those foundations have been shaken or wounded, the psalmist’s question rises from the heart: “If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?” Scripture’s answer is clear: God rebuilds. He lays in you the one foundation that cannot be shaken, Jesus Christ, and turns your cracks into open doors to grace. Your past no longer defines you; from now on, it can light your way.

The heart of the prayer
Prayer
Lord, I praise You, for You are the unshakable rock on which I build my life. Thank You for restoring my foundations by Your grace. What was shaken, You make firm; what was fragile, You make strong. I receive Your peace over my story and Your gentleness over my memories. Let Your light renew the patterns of my family, and make me someone who repairs the breaches in my generation. Let my house be founded on the rock and stand firm in every season. I thank You, for You complete what You have begun. In Jesus’ name, amen.
